Thick and juicy tonkatsu

Kawakyu, run by a meat shop, offers tonkatsu that uses Kagoshima’s authentic kurobuta pork from the Watanabe Berkshire Farm and hinamori pork grown at the foot of Mount Kirishima. Kawakyu’s thick pork with thin batter is cooked slowly at a low temperature, resulting in a juicy and substantial tonkatsu.
