Jigenji Somen Nagashi

Enjoy nagashi somen amidst nature

Enjoy "somen nagashi" ("flowing noodles"), a summer tradition of Kagoshima, at Jigenji Park in Taniyama, Kagoshima.
Relish somen noodles, rice balls, salt-grilled trout, koikoku (carp soup), koi no arai (slices of carp washed in cold water), jambo mochi, and other local food against the backdrop of clear mountain streams and lush greenery.
Enjoy "jet-type somen nagashi," which is inspired by the eruption of Sakurajima.
