One of the best beaches in the city where you can enjoy swimming with Sakurajima in the background. The beach bustles with local residents and tourists. Although the beach is in the city centre, there is a relaxed atmosphere.
Visitors can enjoy various marine activities and fishing. Personal watercraft, wakeboards, towable tubes and banana boats are available at ISO Marine House.
Near the beach you'll find Sengan-en, which has a beautiful garden, the Former Shuseikan Machinery Factory museum, local snack Jambo Mochi shops, and Starbucks Kagoshima Sengan-en Store opens in a renovated historical building.
