HealthyLand "Tamatebako" Outdoor Hot Springs in Ibusuki City is about 1 hour and 30 minutes by car from Kagoshima-Chuo Station.

It is recommended to use the open-air bath with a spectacular view, which has been voted the best in Japan by one of the world's largest review sites! With a view of the beautiful Mount Kaimon, known as the Mount Fuji of Satsuma, and the vast ocean, this open-air bath offers an experience that will make you feel as one with the magnificent scenery. A sand bath, heated swimming pool and indoor bath are also near the facility.

There are Japanese-style and Western-style open-air baths, which are alternatively open for use by men or women on odd and even numbered days.
