IO WORLD鹿兒島水族館いおわーるどかごしますいぞくかん

展示主題包含黑潮與西南群島海域等，多采多姿魅力十足

這座水族館最自豪的就是地點絕佳，抬頭就能看見櫻島。館內以鹿兒島的海洋生物為主，展示了約800種，共1萬隻的生物。「黑潮大水槽」寬約25公尺，總水量1500噸，水槽內展示了鯨鯊與鮪魚等順著黑潮洄游的魚類，非常壯觀。館內的展示主題包括色彩鮮艷的熱帶魚與活珊瑚棲息的「西南諸島海域」，以及「鹿兒島深海」等，除此之外還有全球只在這裡才看得到的珍貴「薩摩羽織蟲」。
另外，還會舉辦學習海豚相關知識的活動，以及鯨鯊、斑海豹、電鰻的飲食解說。
